Corporate office medical room
Onsite Clinic for Corporate Offices
An onsite clinic for a corporate office is a small medical room with a nurse during office hours and an MBBS doctor visiting on fixed days, giving employees quick consultations and giving the floor a trained first responder with an AED. It is the office version of an OHC, which is why our corporate OHC and onsite clinic pages are merged here.
Large campuses, BFSI operations floors and shared offices with hundreds of people on site use it to cut time lost to clinic visits and to be ready for a collapse.

Nurse-only room, doctor visits or full medical centre
- Nurse-only medical room: GNM or BSc nurse during office hours for first aid, BP and sugar checks and medication
- Doctor-visit model: nurse daily plus an MBBS doctor for OPD on set days each week
- Campus medical centre: doctor and nurses across shifts for 24x7 operations, with specialist visit days such as physiotherapy or counselling
Emergency readiness: BLS and AED in the office
In an office, the most important minutes are the ones before outside help arrives. The clinic nurse is the BLS lead, checks the AED and emergency kit daily and coordinates with floor wardens trained in CPR. We map the fastest route from each floor to the ambulance bay and run drills with facilities and security.
Office health risks the clinic sees
- Headaches, acidity, viral fevers and minor injuries that otherwise mean a half-day off
- Raised blood pressure and blood sugar found during walk-in checks
- Neck, back and wrist strain from long desk hours — referred to ergonomic advice or physiotherapy
- Stress and anxiety — referred to a counsellor through the employee's confidential pathway
Compliance and wellbeing angle for offices
Offices under state Shops and Establishments laws have basic duties such as first aid facilities, but rarely a statutory duty to run a clinic. The clinic is therefore a wellbeing and business-continuity decision. It works best inside a wider programme that includes confidential mental health support, a respectful-workplace culture and health checkups.
Legal references on this page are general guidance. Exact requirements depend on your state rules, the work you carry out and your headcount, so we confirm the applicable rules for each site before we propose a scope.
Records, privacy and reporting
Every visit is recorded in the employee's own digital health record. HR receives monthly usage and anonymised reason-for-visit trends that help plan wellness sessions — never individual diagnoses.
How we scope an office medical room
- Short call with HR, EHS or the project manager to understand headcount, shifts and existing arrangements
- Site or office walk-through (in person or on video) to see the actual layout, access routes and risks
- Written proposal with scope, staffing, schedule and price — nothing bundled that you did not ask for
- Mobilisation, induction into your site rules and a named coordinator for the account
- Monthly review with digital records in the Plan My Health platform
Frequently asked questions
How big does an office need to be for an onsite clinic?
There is no fixed number. It depends on how many people are on site daily, distance to the nearest clinic and whether you run late or night shifts. We help you decide whether a nurse room, doctor visits or only first aid training makes sense.
Can the nurse dispense medicines?
The nurse provides first aid and medicines under the doctor's standing instructions and prescriptions, with stock tracked for expiry.
Do you supply the AED?
We can advise on, supply or maintain an AED and train staff to use it.
Is the clinic useful for hybrid teams?
Yes, when scheduled around office days. Teleconsultation covers employees on remote days.
Can the clinic run vaccination drives?
Yes. Flu and other vaccination drives can be organised through the clinic.
Will management see individual medical details?
No. Employees see their own records. Management sees anonymised summaries plus the fitness opinions the law requires for specific roles. Anything more is shared only with the employee's consent, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
