Health Talks and Health Sessions in the Office

A health talk in the office is a short, expert-led session — usually by a doctor, dietitian, psychologist or physiotherapist — that explains one health topic and what employees can do about it, followed by questions. It can be a 15-minute desk talk, a 45-minute seminar, a webinar or a toolbox talk on the plant floor in Hindi or Marathi.

Topics come from our library of 78 named wellness sessions and are best chosen from your own checkup or health risk assessment data, or from health days on the calendar.

One session, every location

Formats: desk talk, seminar, webinar or toolbox talk

  • 15-minute desk or huddle talk — one message, delivered to a team at their workspace
  • 45-minute seminar with Q&A — for a meeting room or auditorium
  • Live webinar — for hybrid and multi-city teams, with a recording on request
  • Plant-floor toolbox talk in Hindi or Marathi — 10 to 20 minutes before a shift

Health talks at offices, factories and construction sites

Office talks usually focus on lifestyle risks, mental health and women's health and work well as lunch-and-learn sessions. Factory talks are shorter, held at shift start and cover hearing protection, heat, back care, tobacco and sugar control. Construction site talks happen at the labour camp or before work and cover heat stroke, hydration, monsoon fevers and safe lifting, in the crew's language.

Linking talks to health days and your calendar

A single talk is easy to forget. Tied to a health day — World Heart Day, World Diabetes Day, Women's Day — and followed by a screening or challenge, it becomes part of a programme. Our wellness calendar maps important health days to the right session for each month.

How to book a health talk

  • Tell us the topic or the health day, the audience and the format
  • We confirm the expert type and share a short outline
  • You approve the date; we send joining links or arrive onsite
  • After the talk, HR receives attendance and feedback

Frequently asked questions

Who delivers the health talks?

Qualified experts matched to the topic — doctors, specialists, dietitians, psychologists, physiotherapists or yoga therapists.

Can talks be in Hindi, Marathi or other languages?

Yes, Hindi and Marathi are commonly requested; other languages depend on expert availability.

Can we combine a talk with a screening?

Yes — for example a heart talk with BP and sugar checks, or an eye talk with vision screening.

How far in advance should we book?

Give us as much notice as possible, especially around popular health days.

Can a talk be recorded for other shifts?

Webinars can be recorded where the expert agrees; onsite talks are usually repeated per shift.

Is a single talk enough?

It raises awareness. For behaviour change, plan a series using the wellness calendar.
