Factory first aid
First Aid Training for Factories
First aid training for a factory prepares a trained first aider for every shift and department to handle burns, chemical splashes, crush and machine injuries and cardiac collapse until the OHC nurse or ambulance takes over. It is linked to the first aid boxes, eye wash stations and emergency plan of your specific plant.
Inspectors and auditors ask a simple question: who is the trained first aider on this shift, in this section, right now? The training is designed so you can always answer it.

Factories Act and first aid duties
The Factories Act requires first aid boxes or cupboards in proportion to the number of workers, each in the charge of a person trained in first aid and available during working hours. State rules add details on contents and training.
Legal references on this page are general guidance. Exact requirements depend on your state rules, the work you carry out and your headcount, so we confirm the applicable rules for each site before we propose a scope.
Drills and the emergency team
We combine training with a timed drill — alarm, first aider response, OHC handover and ambulance departure — and give the EHS team a short report on what slowed the response.
Records and refresher cycle
The plant receives a digital register of trained first aiders with shift, section and certificate date. Reminders flag refreshers before certificates lapse and gaps when trained people transfer or leave.
How we scope factory first aid training
- Short call with HR, EHS or the project manager to understand headcount, shifts and existing arrangements
- Site or office walk-through (in person or on video) to see the actual layout, access routes and risks
- Written proposal with scope, staffing, schedule and price — nothing bundled that you did not ask for
- Mobilisation, induction into your site rules and a named coordinator for the account
- Monthly review with digital records in the Plan My Health platform
Frequently asked questions
How many first aiders does a factory need?
It depends on the number of workers per shift and the state rules on first aid boxes. We help you work out coverage per shift and section.

Theory and CPR practice happen in a training room; scenario walk-throughs happen at the actual workstation.
Do you train in Marathi, Gujarati or Tamil?
Where trainers in that language are available. Hindi and English are standard.

Yes, we can run advanced refreshers for nurses and ambulance crews.
