Occupational Health Services for Construction Sites
Construction projects move fast, hire through layers of contractors and put workers at height, near heavy machinery and in the heat. Plan My Health gives projects a medical layer that keeps up: onsite clinics, worker health checkups at the labour camp, standby ambulances and first aid training for supervisors.
We work to the BOCW Act, 1996, the BOCW Central Rules and state rules, and to the contractor safety requirements your client writes into the contract.

Typical exposures and health risks
Work at height
Falls are the leading cause of serious injury. Fitness checks look at balance, vision, blood pressure and history of seizures or giddiness before work at height.
Heat and dehydration
Summer pours and open sites cause heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Hydration plans, rest cycles and trained first aiders are the main controls.
Cement, silica and demolition dust
Long exposure affects the lungs and skin. Spirometry or chest X-ray and skin checks are used where exposure is significant.
Noise and vibration
Piling, breakers and compactors cause hearing loss and hand-arm vibration problems — audiometry and job rotation help.
Labour camp health
Crowded camps see fevers, diarrhoea and vector-borne illness, especially in the monsoon. Camp OPD and sanitation checks prevent lost days.
Statutory medicals — general guidance
- Medical examination of building workers as set out in the BOCW Central Rules and state BOCW rules.
- First aid boxes and the availability of trained first aid personnel on site.
- Arrangements for ambulance or transport of injured workers to hospital.
- Occupational health services on larger sites, as the applicable rules specify.
- Legal references here are general guidance. Exact requirements depend on your state factory rules, the processes you run and your headcount — we confirm the applicable rules for each site before proposing a scope.

Frequently asked questions
Our project changes contractors often. How do you keep records?
Each worker's record follows the worker, tagged with the current contractor, so the principal employer has one site register regardless of contractor changes.
Can you work on a project outside a city?
Yes. Remote and highway projects are where a stationed medical room and ambulance matter most.
Do you cover the labour camp as well as the site?
Yes. Camp OPD hours, new-arrival screening and sanitation checks can be part of the scope.
Which languages do you use with workers?
Hindi as standard, plus regional languages where team members are available.
Can you scale cover up and down with the project phase?
Yes. We review staffing at each major phase change.
