Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
Occupational Health Services for Navi Mumbai's Industrial Belt
Navi Mumbai hosts one of Maharashtra's densest concentrations of chemical, petrochemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing — the TTC MIDC belt through Mahape, Rabale and Airoli, and the Taloja industrial area further south. Alongside them sit IT parks, data centres and corporate offices with very different health needs. Plan My Health serves both.
For chemical and process units we provide hazardous-process medical examinations, OHC staffing with AFIH-qualified doctors, and emergency preparedness. For offices and IT parks we deliver annual health checkups, health risk assessments and wellness programmes.

The TTC MIDC and Taloja industrial areas
The Thane-Belapur Road corridor — Mahape, Rabale, Airoli, Ghansoli — mixes chemical and pharma manufacturing with IT parks and data centres in the same few kilometres. Taloja MIDC adds bulk drug, pesticide and chemical units where hazardous processes are the norm rather than the exception. Koparkhairane and Belapur round out the belt with engineering and logistics.
This concentration means two things for employers: statutory medical surveillance is not optional for most process units, and the workforce expects occupational health support that understands chemical exposure — not a generic annual checkup.
Hazardous-process medical surveillance
Chemical, petrochemical and pharma units in TTC and Taloja typically run processes listed in the Factories Act schedules — which means pre-employment and periodic medical examinations by qualified doctors, with tests matched to the exposure: spirometry for vapours and dust, audiometry for noisy sections, liver and kidney function where solvents are handled, and skin and eye examination for corrosive handling.
We maintain the health register in the format the Maharashtra Factories Rules prescribe and coordinate with certifying surgeons where their examination is required. Legal references on this page are general guidance. Exact requirements depend on your state factory rules, the processes you run and your headcount, so we confirm the applicable rules for each site before we propose a scope.
OHC setup and staffing for chemical units
We design and staff occupational health centres sized to your plant — from a first aid room with a GNM nurse for smaller units to a full OHC with an AFIH-qualified factory medical officer, paramedics, emergency equipment and ambulance tie-ups for hazardous-process sites. Antidotes, emergency medicines and oxygen are stocked per your process risk assessment, with expiry tracking and biomedical waste records kept digitally.
Offices, IT parks and data centres
Navi Mumbai's commercial side — the IT parks of Airoli and Mahape, data centres, and corporate offices in Belapur and Vashi — needs a different programme: annual health checkup camps, ergonomic and eye-care sessions for screen-heavy teams, stress management, and health risk assessments that give HR an anonymised view of workforce health trends.
Emergency response and first aid training
For chemical units, the first five minutes decide outcomes. We train your emergency response teams and first aiders in chemical splash management, CPR, AED use and casualty handling, with drills run on your actual shop floor. ALS and BLS ambulance arrangements can be set up for larger sites or for high-risk operations such as confined-space work.
Frequently asked questions
Our chemical unit is in Taloja MIDC. Can you run periodic medical examinations there?
Yes. Taloja and the TTC belt are core service areas for us. We schedule periodic medical examinations in batches matched to your shifts, with the examination battery set by your process hazards.
Do we need an AFIH-qualified doctor for our OHC?
For hazardous processes and larger factories, the examining and OHC doctors are expected to hold the AFIH (Associate Fellow of Industrial Health) qualification or equivalent recognised training. We staff accordingly and confirm the requirement for your specific licence category.
Can you take over an existing OHC that is not performing?
Yes. We audit the current setup — staffing, medicines, registers, equipment — and either fill the gaps or take over full management with our own team.
We are an IT park in Airoli, not a factory. What do we need?
No statutory OHC — but annual health checkups, first aid training for floor wardens, and wellness sessions are the common programme for Airoli and Mahape offices. We will propose exactly that, without factory services you do not need.
How are medical records handled for contract labour?
Contract workers are examined and recorded the same way as direct employees, with digital records mapped to your contractor-wise headcount so compliance coverage is provable at any inspection.
Will HR see individual employees' medical reports?
No. Employees see their own reports. HR sees anonymised, aggregated data plus the fitness opinions the law requires for specific roles. Anything beyond that is shared only with the employee's consent.
