Digital health records and e-consultation are the new default
Last updated 10 September 2026
Employees now expect their reports, prescriptions and doctor access in one app. Here is what good digital health record management looks like — and how we deliver it.

Paper reports get lost, and a prescription photographed on a phone is useless six months later. That is why digital health records have moved from a nice-to-have to the base expectation of any employee health benefit — and why e-consultation has become the fastest way to close the gap between an abnormal report and actual medical advice.
A digital record is only useful if it is complete and private. Lab reports, prescriptions, clinic and OHC visit notes, vaccination details, assessment history and daily vitals should sit in one timeline per person, downloadable any time, visible only to that employee. Family members — spouse, children, parents — need their own space in the same account, because health decisions are made at home, not per employee ID.
E-consultation matters most in the follow-through. When a report shows high sugar or cholesterol, the useful next step is a doctor within days, not a referral letter. A teleconsultation booked from the same screen as the report, with the doctor already able to see it, removes the delay where most wellness programmes lose people. Prescriptions then attach to that consultation digitally, and a re-test can be scheduled to confirm improvement.
Trust is the rest of the job: storage in India, encryption in transit and at rest, clear consent, audit logs of every access, and aggregated-only reporting to employers. HR should see participation and risk bands. HR should never see one person's diagnosis.
On corporatehealth.in, every employee gets a personal health record for themselves and their family, uploads and downloads of reports and prescriptions, an AI report reader that explains lab values and medicines in plain language, teleconsultation and medical test requests, daily tracking of steps, sleep, water, weight and BMI with trend graphs, and a 90-day plan that updates as the numbers change.
What makes it work is the physical layer behind it — our camps, onsite clinics, diagnostic network and home visits across India. Digital records alone are a filing cabinet; combined with people who actually run the screening and the consultation, they become health outcomes you can measure.
