Indoor air quality is a productivity line item
Last updated 2 July 2026
PM2.5 and CO2 inside offices track absenteeism and cognitive test scores. Both are cheap to measure and cheaper to fix than most wellness spends.
By the Plan My Health corporate health team

Studies of office environments consistently show cognitive scores falling as CO2 climbs beyond 1,000 ppm, and respiratory complaints rising with indoor PM2.5.
A baseline environmental audit — PM2.5, PM10, CO2, VOCs, temperature and humidity across zones — usually takes a day per site and immediately points at the fix: filter grade, fresh-air rate or a blocked AHU.
Pair air data with your health risk assessment. A respiratory-symptom cluster in one wing is far more actionable when you can show the air numbers for that wing.
